If you’re a Lego fan and you enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean, then this would be a great build for you. This build will bring you hours of time and once it is all put together, you can proudly display it on your shelf.

This set has a total of 2,294 pieces. It measures 18 inches in height, 27 inches long and 8 inches wide. With the main mast collapsed, she’s a little over 14 inches

In this set, you get 8 mini figures, Captain Jack Sparrow, Henry, Carina, Lieutenant Lesaro, Captain Salazar, Officer Magda, Officer Santos and the Silent Mary Masthead, plus two detachable ghost sharks. (all of whom are very well detailed),  and one massive ghost ship.

 

How much will it cost me?

Currently we are seeing it priced at around $199.95 but it’s always best to do your homework and check prices online.

 

Who Would Buy It?

This Pirates set is recommended by Lego for over 14 year olds, and in my opinion I would stick to this recommendation as I found it quite tricky and fiddly to put together, but when finished it was well worth it.

Things We Like About It

To be honest I liked most things about this Kit, the figures are very good. The ship’s sails are made of high-quality cloth, which seems very durable and unlikely to tear. and the sheer size of the Silent Mary is very impressive.

 

Didn’t like so much

As mentioned earlier, the actual building of the ship can be a bit fiddly,  It has 2300 pieces(if you include the extra pieces it is) and about 16 bags to hold them all. These are small pieces, so make sure to open the bags carefully so that you do not lose any.

 

Is The LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Worth The Money?

Currently priced at around $199.95 this kit is not not cheap, but you get absolutely heaps for your money, This set is HUGE! It is 2 ft long and 1 and 1/2 feet tall. So YES I think it is great value for money
